myMatrixx is proud to announce that Kim Ehrlich, Vice President of Regulatory Compliance, was recently elected to the American Association of Payers, Administrators and Networks (AAPAN) board.
Kim has been involved in the industry for over 25 years. Thanks to her former experience as a claims manager overseeing programs, she has experienced and engaged with the various regulations in the industry and has had a front row seat to how the industry has evolved. Kim has been with myMatrixx since January 2011 and helps our clients navigate the regulatory landscape by focusing on proactive engagement.
AAPAN works to ensure patients can access quality health care by providing a space for member organizations to share ideas and collaborate as they strive to make industry regulations clearer. AAPAN helps educate regulators and other interested parties about the industry and its needs so they have the data to make informed decisions. It provides a unified voice to better interface with regulators and policymakers even though AAPAN members come from different companies and have different interests.
The AAPAN board is composed of a multitude of stakeholders and truly provides a more global opportunity to understand the different member perspectives and their various challenges. Kim believes this idea exchange will be beneficial in moving workers’ comp forward and will broaden the group’s understanding of the different components of the workers’ comp field. She’s excited to help bring awareness regarding current challenges and to learn about the changing processes that other member organizations are implementing.
As a board member, Kim will aim to help generate a sense of community and keep myMatrixx in the conversation. Her work with the board will show myMatrixx’s commitment to solving industry issues and ensuring the focus is on the worker and not the administration side.
