myMatrixx Clinical Account Executive Shanea McKinney is a regular speaker for RIMS, the risk management society, and their Professional Exchange of Risk Knowledge, or PERK, program. In the coming weeks she will be delivering two of her accepted presentations to RIMS chapters virtually in Oregon and Tampa Bay.
First, on December 17th, Shanea will be presenting “Medical Marijuana’s Impact on Workers’ Comp” to the Oregon Chapter. Attendees of this event can expect an overview of medical marijuana from a clinical and legal perspective with a state-specific jurisdictional focus.
Next, on January 20th, Shanea will share, “Preparing for the Aging American Workforce in Workers’ Compensation” to the Tampa Bay Chapter. This presentation will cover the demographics around an increasingly aging workforce and the steps that employers can take to ensure the health and safety of this growing segment.
The presentations should take approximately 60 to 90 minutes, with opportunities for questions and discussion afterwards with chapter members. We’ll keep you posted regarding any future myMatrixx educational speaking engagements for this and other programs as we become aware of them.
