Phil Walls, myMatrixx Chief Clinical Officer, will speak at the 74th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando, Florida. His presentation, DNA, Drugs And Doctors: How Genes Affect Your Response To Drugs, will be centered around how adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are considered the fourth most common cause of death among Americans and a future where the risk of ADRs can be managed or even eliminated. The session will be followed by a discussion between two physicians as to whether the medical community is ready to utilize this new information, and whether pharmacogenomics will have a broad impact on the treatment and recovery of injured workers.
Phil's presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th at 3:15p in the Marriott World Center Orlando, Grand Ballroom 8B, convention level.
