myMatrixx is closely monitoring the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and our top priority is the safety and service of our customers, clients, employees and partners.
“The spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, is raising concerns around the world. People want to know how to stay safe, how to protect their loved ones, friends and colleagues and, most of all, that the health care system is prepared,” says myMatrixx Chief Clinical Officer, Phil Walls. “My colleagues and I hear your questions. While much about COVID-19 is still unknown, we are continuously monitoring the situation and providing answers as they emerge.”
We are encouraging everyone to follow the guidance provided by local health authorities, the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention.
Specific Recommendations Include:
- Wash your hands thoroughly, for a minimum of 20 seconds, and clean shared surfaces
- Share a smile, instead of a handshake or hug
- To fight germs and keep them from spreading, cough or sneeze into a tissue, or your elbow
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick, and try not to touch your mouth, nose, and eyes
As we do in all emergency settings, myMatrixx is partnering closely with our pharmaceutical suppliers and medical providers to ensure our customers have uninterrupted access to their medications and the care they need. We are not experiencing any impact to inventory at this time. myMatrixx account teams are being provided all necessary resources and will be updating contacts accordingly.
“We are working through a fluid situation. But we are committed to keeping open lines of communication and providing you with regular updates as the response to COVID-19 evolves,” says Walls.
